Sunday in Seward

Sunday morning the W&W team had breakfast and devotions at 4:15AM right before we left for Seward. We took a van to Anchorage and a charter bus from Anchorage to Seward to catch a boat for a tour of the Kenai fjords along the shore of the Gulf of Alaska. It was very cool with a steady light rain the entire day so visibility was poor but we still got to see many beautiful things including the glaciers in the fjords along the Kenai coast line. We saw a whale, porpoises, sea lions, sea otters, jelly fish, and a wide variety of birds.

After six hours on the boat, we returned to Seward and caught the Alaska Railroad train to get us back to Anchorage. We arrived back at camp around midnight.Everyone was wet, cold, and tired, but the scenery on the boat and the train were spectacular even with the clouds and the rain. My pictures cannot begin to do justice to God's majestic creation we were privileged to see Sunday.
